2) Certification – Certified Trainer Seminar

The second component of the LTI System™ is LTI’s instructor training program, called the Certified Training Seminar. This 2 ½ day seminar is dedicated to “train-the-trainer” to sharpen teaching skills of trainers and qualify them to effectively teach the LTI Curriculum. It is required for all instructors to be certified to teach the LTI Curriculum.

Certified Trainer Seminar Overview

Orientation to Curriculum LTI Trainers provide detailed orientation to the entire LTI Curriculum, describing each module. Training the Trainer LTI Trainers provide specific skill training for instructors, offering train-the-trainer principles and teaching techniques. Modeling & Best Practices LTI Trainers teach sample sessions to model effective teaching practices while sharing instructor tips. Live Practice Sessions Each seminar attendee teaches an actual portion of the LTI material to get hands-on practice, followed by written and oral feedback from both their peers and LTI’s training staff.

Each Instructor Certified

• Each participant who completes the entire seminar receives a Certified Trainer Certificate and is commissioned in a closing service with the authorization to teach the Curriculum in their local setting.
